A bit of Ireland, brought to you
Plymouth, Massachusetts
A small outfit with a very portable pub.
We are a small hospitality group based in Plymouth, Massachusetts, and what we do is straightforward enough: we bring a proper Irish pub to wherever you happen to be having your event. A wedding, a birthday, a corporate afternoon, a fundraiser in a field — if there is room to park it, there is room for the pub.
The idea is not to hand you a bar in a marquee and call it Irish. It is to give you the room itself — the warmth of it, the closeness of it, the sense that you have stepped in out of the weather and might not leave for a while. That is a harder thing to transport than a keg, which is rather the point.
síbínnoun a small, traditional, illicit Irish drinking house — historically an unlicensed bar, tucked away where it would not be found, where the craic flowed freely and the night went on rather longer than anyone intended.
It seemed the right name for a pub that turns up where it is not expected, and disappears again the next morning.
