Mobile Bar Rental on the South Shore: The Whole Pub, Not Just the Bar

A bar trailer is a counter with taps. This is a room with a roof, a snug and a door people walk through.

Same job. More atmosphere.

A mobile bar rental on the South Shore usually means a bar trailer or a tap trailer: a counter on wheels with draft lines in it, parked beside the party. The Síbín does the same job — two draft lines, keg setup and gas, coolers, a sink, a sound system — but puts the bar inside an actual Irish pub with a roof, a snug, heating and a door your guests walk through.

We are based in Plymouth and the South Shore is where most of the pub's dates are, with runs to Cape Cod, Greater Boston and New England. There are two pubs to choose from, both available dry hire or staffed, and you can check a date in a minute.

In fairness

Bar trailer, tap trailer, or a pub

Bar trailer rental

A towed counter with a back bar, usually with taps and cold storage, served from a hatch or an open side. Compact, quick to park, and it does the job well. Your guests stand outside it, so the weather is their problem and the atmosphere is whatever the lawn provides.

Tap trailer rental

The same idea built around the draft lines — a wall of taps, kegs and gas inside, pints handed out of a window. Brilliant for a beer-led crowd. Also, in fairness, a counter: the bar is the whole thing, and there is nowhere to sit down out of the rain.

A mobile pub

The bar, the taps and the coolers are all there — and so is a room around them. Walls, a roof, a snug to sit in, a stove heater for March and AC for July, a door people come in through. Same job as the trailers. Rather more of a night.

Nothing against a good bar trailer. If the bar is the point, rent a bar. If the pub is the point, read on.

What the bar comes with

Everything a tap trailer gives you, we give you. Two draft lines with the keg setup and beer gas done for you, bottle and wine coolers, a sink to wash the glasses, and a sound system to play what you like. You supply the drink — we never sell alcohol — and either pour it yourself or add our bartenders from Ireland from $499.

Delivery, setup and collection are ours. The pub is yours for 24 hours, so it can be standing the evening before and gone the morning after. Glassware, outdoor seating, a generator, a water station, a photobooth and more are quoted with the booking on the pricing page.

FAQ

Mobile bar rental questions

What does a mobile bar rental on the South Shore cost?

The Síbín is $997 for 24 hours Monday to Thursday and $1,200 Friday to Sunday. The Aer is $500 for 24 hours any day. Delivery inside the Plymouth area is included; further afield we quote a delivery fee up front. Bartenders are optional, from $499 for a 4-hour event — see the pricing page.

Is this a bar trailer rental?

The Síbín is towed on a trailer, so technically yes — but it is a whole pub on that trailer, not a serving counter. You walk in through a door, sit down in a snug, and the bar is inside with you. A standard bar trailer is a counter you stand at from outside. Both pour a pint; only one of them is a room.

Do you supply the beer for the taps?

No. Like a tap trailer rental, we supply the two draft lines, keg setup and beer gas, and you supply the kegs. We never sell alcohol. If you would rather not run the bar yourself, add our Irish bartenders and they will pour.

What do I need on site?

Level ground, vehicle access for delivery and collection, and a reliable power supply within reach. The Síbín needs roughly a parking-space footprint and runs its heater, AC, TV and sound off ordinary power. The Aer needs a four-metre square and its blower must run continuously, so the power has to stay on all night.

How far from Plymouth will you go?

The South Shore is home and gets most of our dates, with regular runs to Cape Cod and Greater Boston and the occasional tow across New England. Travel inside the Plymouth area is included; beyond it we quote the delivery fee before you book. Ring (508) 322-1298 and tell us the town.
