St. Patrick’s Day Party Rental: A Real Irish Pub at Your Door

Book early — March dates go months ahead.

Paddy’s Day, properly

A St. Patrick’s Day party rental from The Síbín means an actual Irish pub turns up at your house, your office or your venue, is set up for you, and stays for 24 hours. You supply the drink, or add our bartenders from Ireland and let them pour it. It is the same pub for the same price whether it is March 17th or any other day — the only difference is that March goes first, so book early.

We are based in Plymouth and spend most of March on the South Shore, with runs to Cape Cod, Boston and across New England. There are two pubs to pick from: a towed Victorian pub with a snug and real Irish history on the walls, and an inflatable pub that holds thirty and goes up in minutes.

Which one for St. Patrick’s Day?

01

The Síbín

A real Irish pub rental for St. Patrick’s Day: seats 16 inside, a working bar with two draft lines, a snug, a stove heater for a March evening and a hundred years of Irish history on the walls. $997 midweek, $1,200 at the weekend, for 24 hours.

The Aer

The inflatable Irish pub for the bigger crowd: holds 25–30, pitched roof, pub sign over the door, up in minutes on a lawn or driveway. $500 for 24 hours, any day, with a folding bar, seating and a jockey box as add-ons.

A St. Paddy’s party at home

Skip the parade crush and the two-hour wait for a table. A St. Paddy’s party at home with a pub in the driveway means your own music, your own crowd, no last orders and nobody driving. The pub arrives, we set it up, and your part is to put the kettle on for us and the kegs on for everybody else.

You need a level spot the size of a parking space for The Síbín or a four-metre square for The Aer, an ordinary power outlet within reach, and vehicle access for delivery and collection. The full checklist is in the FAQs on our contact page, and our St. Patrick’s Day at home guide covers food, music and the running order.

Your call

Pour it yourself, or bring the Irish

Dry hire

You supply the alcohol and run the bar. The pub comes with two draft lines, keg setup and gas, coolers, a sink and the sound system. Cheapest way to do it.

Fully staffed

Bartenders from Ireland, one of them a Dubliner, TIPS-certified and insured, from $499 for a 4-hour event. They pour, they chat, they know how to settle a stout.

Either way

Delivery, setup and collection are ours. The pub is yours for 24 hours, so it can be in place the night before and gone the morning after.

Where we go in March

South Shore first, then everywhere else

Plymouth is home, so the South Shore gets the shortest drive and the most March dates. Cape Cod and Greater Boston are regular runs, and we have towed the pub across New England for the right party. Travel inside the Plymouth area is included; beyond it we quote a delivery fee up front.

FAQ

St. Patrick’s Day questions

How far ahead should I book for St. Patrick’s Day?

As early as you can. We have two pubs and one March 17th, and the weekend either side goes first. Book early — March dates go months ahead. If the day itself is gone, the Friday or Saturday nearest it makes for exactly the same party, and the parade crowd has usually thinned out by then.

What does a St. Patrick’s Day party rental cost?

The Síbín is $997 for 24 hours Monday to Thursday and $1,200 Friday to Sunday; The Aer is $500 for 24 hours any day. Bartenders from Ireland start at $499 for a 4-hour event. Delivery within the Plymouth area is included; further afield is quoted. The full breakdown is on our pricing page.

Do I need a licence to have the pub at my house on St. Patrick’s Day?

For a private party at home where you supply the drink and nobody pays for it, most people run it the way they would any house party. Rules vary by town — check with your local licensing board. We have put together a plain-English guide to the questions to ask. Ticketed or public events are a different matter, and we will talk you through it before you book.

Can you supply the Guinness?

We do not sell alcohol. You supply the kegs, bottles and spirits and we supply everything to pour them properly: two draft lines with keg setup and beer gas, coolers, a sink and glass-washing. If you would rather not be behind the bar on the night, add our Irish bartenders and they will keep the stout settling while you enjoy it.

Will it be warm enough in March?

Yes. The Síbín has its own electric stove heater and the room is small enough to be toasty within minutes, which is rather the point of a snug. The Aer is a tent, in fairness, so for March we suggest a patio heater beside the door and a crowd inside — thirty people in a four-metre room generate a surprising amount of heat.

What if St. Patrick’s Day falls midweek?

In 2027 it is a Wednesday. Midweek is the cheaper rate for The Síbín ($997 rather than $1,200), the pub is more likely to be free, and a Wednesday-night session has a long and honourable history in Ireland. The 24-hour rental means it can arrive the evening before and leave the morning after, so the day itself is all yours.
